The traditional role Hollybush Vets has played in the local equine community is through first opinion work. This means providing a service to deal with the basic cases that crop up on a day to day basis but referring complicated procedures to specialist equine hospitals in the vicinity.

We aim to continue that role, however, through an agreement with Rob Grinnall of Clay Farm, Clows Top, we can now offer a more in-depth knowledge and experience in this area. Clay Farm has facilities to stable horses and a treatment room for x-raying/scanning. This allows us to do a range of procedures, including:
